Perimeter, area and volume are measurements which are used to calculate the size of a geometric shape and have been taught in primary school level. However, pupils often face difficulties to understand the basic concepts of these measurements. Transformer PAV aims to solve pupils’ difficulties in understanding the concept of perimeter, area and volume by reviewing students’ conceptual understanding of the definition and its connection with the quality of their problem-solving performance. The functionality of this product was tested by carrying out pre-test and post-test. Pupils’ performance has improved after teachers conducted the lessons using Transformer PAV.
