Ebbinghau Curve of Forgetting stated that, information slips out of our memories over time, unless we take action to keep it there. Our initial survey shown that the students were having difficulties in retaining the information that they just learned. We thought of an innovative way on how to boost memorisation among students. Thus, we decided to create flashcards to foster memorisation among students. Mathematics subject focused on Algebra topic was chosen because it is difficult topic to deal with mostly among students. We included spaced repetition technique with Lietner system approach in SMART-17 flashcards. Based on the evaluation results on 25 respondents, 84.6% students found the flashcards very useful and 15 of them rated SMART-17 10 out of 10. The data shows there is an increase in students’ participation in class and the students also remember the information better. We hope to use SMART-17 in other subjects in the future.
