Gas Guardian is an Arduino-based smart gas leakage detection and control system designed to improve safety in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. The system utilizes a gas sensor to detect the presence of flammable gases and initiates immediate action to prevent accidents. Upon detection of a leak, it activates a buzzer to provide an audible warning and sends real-time alerts through a Telegram bot to notify users remotely. Additionally, a servo motor is triggered to automatically shut off the gas valve, effectively stopping the gas flow and minimizing the risk of fire or explosion. Data collected during testing focused on response time, alert accuracy, and the servo motor's effectiveness in sealing the gas supply. Results indicated fast detection, accurate alerting, and reliable gas shut-off performance. Gas Guardian stands out due to its integrated approach, combining detection, communication, and automated prevention in a compact and cost-effective package. With strong potential for application in homes, restaurants, and industrial settings, Gas Guardian offers a practical, scalable solution to a critical safety challenge, aiming to reduce injuries, damage, and fatalities caused by gas leaks.
