Mersing Island Explorers is a VR project in Johor that offers customers a real-time experience of exploring the beautiful islands of Mersing. The project uses a digital method, including filming, editing, and uploading to YouTube VR. Customers can purchase VR videos through the website www.mersingisland.com, and they are recommended to watch on a VR set or smartphone with an AMOLED display screen. The project has met Technology Readiness Level TRL 9. It also helps the government promote Mersing and Malaysia through digital platforms, boosts the local economy, and supports the United Nations in implementing SDG 4 by exposing students to digital technology and entrepreneurship education. Additionally, it raises awareness about marine pollution and SDG 14.1 targets
