The Intensive Chemistry Workshop was organized for first-semester students enrolled in the Diploma in Science at UiTM Sabah to overcome the challenges of limited knowledge of chemistry. To address this concern, an intensive workshop was organized to provide students with minimal knowledge of chemistry with the fundamental concepts and skills needed to succeed in the subject in a half-day workshop. The effectiveness of the workshop was evaluated through a post-workshop questionnaire. The findings showed positive outcomes, where most respondents agreed that the workshop’s content was suitable, their confidence in studying chemistry increased, and overall, they perceived the workshop as effective.
