Abstract— This project focuses on developing a solar-powered charging station aimed at providing a sustainable solution for charging mobile devices using clean and renewable energy. The need for accessible and eco-friendly charging solutions is critical, especially in high-traffic outdoor areas where grid power may not be readily available. To address this issue, the proposed system utilizes a 12V Li-ion battery charged by a 20W solar panel and integrates ESP32 microcontroller for real-time monitoring and IoT capabilities. Key features include the use of INA219 current sensors and a voltage sensor to measure parameters like battery voltage and charging current, with the data transmitted to the Blynk platform for remote monitoring. The system also offers real-time alerts for usage and maintenance, ensuring reliability and efficiency. The project demonstrates a practical integration of renewable energy with IoT, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) of Affordable and Clean Energy. This innovation benefits the public, especially in recreational parks and bus stops, by promoting renewable energy adoption and providing convenient off-grid charging solutions.
