Tea-CoCo is an eco-innovative project developed to address household oil pollution using a biodegradable filter made from coconut husks, processed into a tea-like form. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, Tea-CoCo offers a low-cost, sustainable solution to reduce kitchen oil residues before they contaminate waterways. This project transforms agricultural waste into a functional environmental tool, combining scientific inquiry with practical application. Beyond its environmental benefits, Tea-CoCo also serves as an educational platform, encouraging students to engage with real-world problems through innovation, critical thinking, and sustainability-focused learning. It highlights how simple materials can create meaningful environmental impact.
