The escalating rates of overweight and obesity among Malaysians, added with it being susceptible to non-communicable diseases (NCDs) like diabetes, high cholesterol, and hypertension, highlights the pressing need for initiative in endorsing healthy eating habits. Addressing this significant public health challenge, the authors have developed a conceptual illustration of an interface called Nutri.Hero, an innovative food delivery app designed to revolutionize how individuals in Malaysia access nutritious meals customized to their dietary requirements, calorie intake and food allergies. Employing the design thinking approach, Nutri.Hero is aimed to bridge the gaps in accessibility of sellers and certified nutritionists and dietitians working hand in hand to cater specific dietary standards. Canva App was utilized to illustrate the interface and questionnaires regarding the impression and feedback of the outlook were distributed to 38 participants. The findings indicated significant support as it has an opportunity to increase the level of attention on dietary nutrition knowledge. This idea holds a substantial potential for commercialization, fostering collaborations with software developers, nutritionist and dietitians to develop a user-friendly interface accessible on various digital devices. This user interface would have an impact on the online food delivery industry as well, where customers can manage their own calories intake and monitor their diet while as for seller, this app is a useful hub for selling healthy food products.
