AgriSun Solar Tracker is an Arduino-based intelligent solar irrigation system designed to address agricultural challenges such as unreliable electricity, water shortages, and inefficient irrigation methods. The system integrates a solar tracking mechanism, dual LDR sensors, Arduino automation, a servo motor, battery storage, and a water pump to maximize solar energy absorption and provide efficient irrigation. Unlike conventional fixed-panel systems, AgriSun automatically follows sunlight direction, improving energy generation and reducing water and electricity wastage. Testing demonstrated successful off-grid operation and enhanced performance compared to fixed solar panels. This low-cost, eco-friendly, and scalable innovation supports sustainable agriculture, improves crop productivity, and strengthens food security, particularly in rural and remote communities.
