This product was developed with the aim of designing and constructing a weighing cage that facilitates quail farmers in measuring the weight of quails more efficiently. The manual weighing method previously practiced was time-consuming and posed a risk of causing stress to the quails, potentially affecting their growth and health. Therefore, this innovative product was introduced to improve the efficiency and convenience of quail weighing activities. The cage is equipped with a digital weighing system integrated with a display panel, allowing users to monitor weight readings more easily. Additionally, a solar-powered battery charging device was developed as an eco-friendly solution for recharging the weighing system’s battery, in line with environmental sustainability efforts. An online questionnaire via Google Forms was used as a medium to gather user feedback regarding the effectiveness and usability of this product. Data analysis results showed that the weighing cage significantly reduced the time required to weigh quails and improved the accuracy of weight measurements. Overall, this innovative product has the potential to be utilized in the quail farming industry to enhance productivity and promote more systematic livestock management.
