The Plastoscope is a low-cost, sustainable DIY microscope designed to enhance access to scientific tools, particularly for students and researchers in underserved communities. Constructed using recycled plastic bottles and optical components, it provides a cost-effective alternative to traditional laboratory microscopes. This innovation aligns with Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 4 & SDG 9) by promoting quality education and fostering innovation. The study explores the practicality, cost-effectiveness, and impact of the Plastoscope, demonstrating its potential as an educational tool for STEM learning. Furthermore, a marketing strategy incorporating e-commerce and social media engagement is proposed to ensure widespread adoption. This project contributes to both educational accessibility and environmental sustainability by repurposing plastic waste into functional scientific equipment.
