Gas leaks from LPG cylinders pose a serious safety hazard, especially in homes and small food businesses. Many low-cost gas detectors only emit a sound alarm but do not take further action to stop the danger. This project introduces a Smart Gas Leakage Detection and Response System that not only detects the presence of gas but also automatically reacts to reduce the risk of fire or explosion. The system uses MQ2 and MQ135 sensors to detect gases such as LPG and carbon monoxide. When a leak is detected, an Arduino-based controller triggers a buzzer for a sound alert, turns on an exhaust fan to ventilate the gas, and activates a servo motor to shut off the gas valve. An optional Wi-Fi or Bluetooth module can also be used to send a notification to a smartphone.
