Water scarcity and energy constraints are two of the most pressing challenges in modern agriculture. This project presents the design and implementation of a Solar Powered Intelligent Irrigation System aimed at optimizing water usage and promoting sustainable farming practices. By integrating photovoltaic technology with an array of environmental sensors, the system operates entirely off-grid while continuously monitoring real-time data such as soil moisture, temperature, and humidity. An embedded microcontroller processes this data to autonomously control water pumps and valves, delivering precise amounts of water to crops only when necessary. This intelligent automation eliminates the need for manual intervention, prevents over-watering, and significantly reduces operational energy costs. Ultimately, the proposed system offers a scalable, eco-friendly solution to enhance agricultural productivity while conserving vital natural resources.
