The Auto Clean Aqua Tank (ACATA) is an automated, solar-powered maintenance system designed to address the challenges of manual aquarium cleaning. Manual aquarium cleaning is often time-consuming and inconsistent. Therefore, the ACATA utilizes a turbidity sensor to continuously monitor water clarity, automatically triggering a water exchange cycle when contamination is detected. To ensure a stable environment for aquatic life, a float switch regulates water levels while a magnetic cleaner removes algae from the glass without manual effort. Beyond simple maintenance, ACATA promotes a circular economy by repurposing nutrient-rich waste water for a drip irrigation system that nourishes nearby plants. By combining renewable energy with smart waste management, ACATA provides a convenient, eco-friendly solution that enhances fish health and reduces resource waste. Future iterations aim to integrate safety cut-off mechanisms and enhanced sensor precision to further improve system reliability and user control.
