This study focuses on designing a roller-based finishing tool with a cylindrical alignment aid to improve surface quality and ensure proper workpiece alignment. It serves as an alternative to conventional methods that are time-consuming, labour-intensive, and prone to misalignment. The roller system applies uniform pressure while maintaining stability along the machine axis. This combination reduces surface roughness, improves dimensional accuracy, and produces a smoother, more consistent finish. Test results show the tool enhances surface quality, alignment, and process efficiency, making it suitable for machining applications to improve productivity and overall work quality.
