EcoSort is a waste distribution system that can separate metal and non-metal waste automatically. EcoSort consists of an arduino, inductive proximity sensor, servo motor and pvc pipe. An inductive sensor which can detect metal materials such as aluminium cans will send signals to the servo motor to rotate the  PVC pipe about 30-45 degrees. The project’s core objective is to develop and implement an effective waste management strategy as well as address the negative impact of metal waste on the environment. Eight out of ten respondents who always drink can beverages agree that EcoSort had a positive impact not only on the environment but also on society. In conclusion, EcoSort help reduce the waste of metal materials and reduce the negative impact on the environment.
