With the growth of the global economy, international travel has become more accessible, encouraging Muslim tourists to explore both Islamic and non-Muslim destinations. However, Muslim travellers often face challenges in maintaining religious and personal hygiene while on the move. Many public spaces and accommodations lack proper facilities for essential practices such as wudu’ (ablution) and istinja (cleansing with water after using the toilet). The absence of water sprays or bidets, limited cleanliness, and lack of privacy often lead to discomfort and spiritual distress. To solve these challenges, SanToBag was created as a practical toiletry solution for modern, eco-conscious, and Muslim travellers. It addresses common travel hygiene issues such as limited luggage space, leakage risk, and the inconvenience of carrying multiple personal care items. SanToBag’s compact, waterproof case features refillable compartments for shampoo, body wash, a toothbrush, and a portable bidet, making it particularly useful for performing wudu’ or istinja in places without water-friendly restrooms. Designed with airport security regulations in mind, all liquid containers in SanToBag are refillable and under 100ml, meeting the global air travel rule that limits carry-on liquids to 100ml per item. This prevents delays at security checkpoints and eliminates the need for last-minute repacking. A self-adhesive backing allows the bag to attach to mirrors or flat surfaces for easy access. The modular, space-saving design enhances packing efficiency and reduces clutter or spills in luggage. Its durable build ensures it can withstand rugged travel conditions. By combining functionality, cultural sensitivity, and environmental responsibility, SanToBag offers a clean, organized, and respectful hygiene solution. Ideal for Muslim tourists, backpackers, and short-term travellers, it promotes a more inclusive and sustainable travel experience.
