Abstract

Climate change is causing skin issues due to extreme weather, air pollution, and environmental concerns. To combat this, an ancient Greek handmade Primer with Sun Protection SPF 30 was developed. This product contains natural substances, provides a smooth foundation base, and shields the skin from harmful UV radiation. It's reef-friendly, nourishing, and rejuvenating, providing long-term results while protecting coral reefs. Method: Boil Shea Butter, Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, and Beeswax in a double boiler. Cool, refrigerate, and mix with carrot seed oil, sesame oil, rosemary essential oil, Aloe Vera. Finally, add saffron and mix until soft aroma is achieved. Results can be observed after around two hours of sun exposure. The botanical elements work wonders on the skin in the first to fourth weeks, leaving it radiant and even-toned. Consistent use will result in healthy, beautiful skin, even during the summer. In Conclusion, the botanical primer with sunscreen elements is beneficial for treating common skin care issues like tans, eczema, skin cancer, uneven skin tone, and skin diseases caused by UVA and UVB light exposure and environmental pollutants. It creates a smooth base for foundation, extends wear time, and provides SPF30 protection against sunburn and premature aging while also lowering the risk of skin cancer. This reef-friendly product nourishes and rejuvenates the skin, providing long-term benefits while preventing coral reef bleaching.
