The EcoGrow Biodegradable Pot is an environmentally friendly planting pot developed from agricultural waste materials, namely banana peels, pineapple peels, and sugarcane bagasse. These materials are combined with durian seed starch to form a strong, biodegradable biocomposite that serves as an alternative to conventional plastic pots. The innovation aims to reduce agricultural and plastic waste while promoting sustainable gardening practices. Unlike plastic pots, the EcoGrow Pot naturally decomposes in the soil and releases beneficial nutrients such as potassium, organic carbon, and minerals that support plant growth. This project contributes to a circular economy by transforming organic waste into a valuable, eco-friendly product.
