Abstract: EduDesignPro: CARVE Model is an AI-generated educational innovation designed to support lecturers at Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) in designing high-impact teaching and learning activities based on the CARVE Model—Creative, Appropriate & Attractive, Rigor & Relevant, variety, and effective. This platform allows IPG lecturers to create meaningful and engaging learning experiences, which are then transformed into interactive Google Sites as Digital Learning Objects (DLOs). Aligned with the principles of New Pedagogies for Deep Learning (NPDL), EduDesignPro enhances digital pedagogy by improving lesson planning, content delivery, and the overall quality of educators' instructional design. The innovation not only facilitates more effective and student-centred teaching approaches but also supports the development of students’ Six Global Competencies. Derived from hands-on insights during IPGM DLO showcases and training sessions, EduDesignPro is the first of its kind introduced to the public, and has been officially recognized for its contribution in advancing digital education practices among IPG lecturers. Impacts of the innovation include improved instructional quality, enhanced digital pedagogy among IPG lecturers, and better student engagement and learning outcomes. EduDesignPro also facilitates the integration of Six Global Competencies into teaching practices, fostering future-ready educators. From a commercialization perspective, EduDesignPro demonstrates strong potential to be expanded beyond IPG, especially as a digital solution for teacher training institutions and higher education providers. Its AI-driven design assistant and structured CARVE framework offer scalability, adaptability, and value as a professional development tool for educators in Malaysia and beyond.
