This project focuses on producing a fermentation-inspired eco-friendly dishwashing liquid using reused green tea waste. Large amounts of green tea residue are usually discarded daily, contributing to unnecessary organic waste. In addition, many commercial dishwashing liquids contain harsh chemicals that may negatively affect the environment. Therefore, this project explores the use of fermentation and recycled green tea waste as part of a sustainable cleaning product concept. The fermentation process was carried out using sugar and yeast to demonstrate biotechnology applications in everyday products. This project also aims to raise awareness about waste reuse and environmentally friendly product innovation.
