This project presents the design and development of a Obstacle Detecting Robot that uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect obstacles in its path. The ultrasonic sensor measures the distance between the robot and nearby objects and sends this information to a microcontroller. Based on the detected distance, the robot is able to move, stop, or change direction automatically to avoid collisions. The system operates without human control, making it suitable for autonomous navigation. This project demonstrates a simple, low-cost approach to obstacle detection and avoidance, and highlights the practical application of ultrasonic sensor technology in robotics.
