This project develops a portable solar oven using simple, low-cost materials to harness renewable energy for heating and drying food. The oven is constructed with a cardboard box, aluminum foil, a black surface, and a transparent cover to trap heat. It works based on the greenhouse effect, where sunlight is absorbed and converted into heat energy. Reflective surfaces increase heat concentration inside the oven. Testing under direct sunlight showed that the oven can produce sufficient heat to warm food effectively. This innovation promotes sustainable energy use and offers a practical solution for communities with limited access to electricity and clean cooking methods.
