TruthLens AI is an innovative application designed to help users identify whether online news, viral content, or shared information is real or fake. In today’s digital world, misinformation spreads rapidly through social media, causing confusion and misleading the public. This project aims to reduce the spread of false information by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology to analyze and verify digital content.

The application allows users to upload texts and paste links for analysis. TruthLens AI then generates a “Trust Score” to indicate the reliability of the content and detects misinformation. The app also includes a source-checking system that compares the content with trusted news sources to improve accuracy. In addition, a warning system alerts users when suspicious or potentially fake information is detected and explains the reasons behind the result.

The target users of this application include students, social media users, journalists, and the general public. To further educate users, the app features a “Learn Mode” that teaches how fake content is created by showing examples of real and fake media. Overall, TruthLens AI helps promote digital awareness, prevents misinformation, and encourages society to make informed decisions based on trusted information.
