PetG (Periodic Table Game) is an interactive, web-based educational game developed to enhance students’ understanding of the periodic table through engaging and self-paced gameplay. Although many periodic table related games are available online, the uniqueness of PeTG lies in its simplicity and ease of use, making it highly accessible to learners. The game offers multiple challenge modes, including identifying element names, symbols, element groups, and group numbers, enabling students to reinforce key chemistry concepts through repeated practice and immediate feedback. This e-learning system displays correct and incorrect responses, allowing learners to track their performance and monitor improvement over time. In addition, the integrated periodic table reference supports independent learning and concept reinforcement. With its intuitive interface, attractive visual design, and game-based assessment approach, PeTG promotes active learning, improves memory retention, and increases student motivation. Overall, this project demonstrates how game-based learning can be effectively applied to help secondary school students better understand and develop a positive interest in chemistry.
