Fractions and integers are essential mathematical concepts that form the foundation for higher-level problem solving. However, many students experience difficulties in understanding these topics due to abstract representations and lack of engaging learning methods. This project introduces an innovative board game designed to enhance students’ comprehension of fractions and integers through interactive and enjoyable learning experiences.

The game incorporates simple rules such as rolling a die, moving along a game path, and answering mathematical challenges related to fractions and integers. Correct answers allow players to progress, while incorrect responses encourage reflection and reinforcement through step-back penalties. The inclusion of bonus paths further motivates student participation and engagement.

This innovation aims to improve students’ conceptual understanding and computational skills while promoting collaborative learning, communication, and active participation in the classroom. By transforming traditional learning into a game-based activity, students are able to practice mathematical operations in a fun and meaningful way.

The teaching aid is affordable, easy to produce, and adaptable for different learning levels, making it suitable for wider implementation. Overall, this project demonstrates strong potential to enhance academic performance and increase students’ interest in mathematics.
