The lifting of heavy objects is a common activity in homes, schools, workshops, and small industries, but it often requires significant physical effort and may lead to injury, fatigue, or inefficient work processes. Conventional lifting methods are not always safe, especially when proper equipment is unavailable or too costly. Therefore, there is a need for a simple, affordable, and practical lifting assist device that can improve safety and ease of operation.

This project developed a lifting assist device designed to reduce manual effort when lifting or supporting objects. The device used a simple structural mechanism and low-cost materials to provide stability and assist users in handling loads more efficiently. Its design focused on ease of use, portability, and practical application in everyday lifting tasks.

The innovation can reduce physical strain, improve user safety, and increase work efficiency in environments where lifting tasks are frequently performed. It also promotes ergonomic handling and offers a low-cost alternative to expensive mechanical lifting equipment.

From a commercialization perspective, the lifting assist device has potential for production as an affordable ergonomic support tool for households, educational projects, small businesses, workshops, and light industrial applications. With further improvement in material strength and design optimization, the innovation could be developed into a marketable product for wider use.
