Malaysia is rich in folklore featuring legendary tales such as Hang Tuah and Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup. However, many of these cultural treasures are increasingly being forgotten, especially among the younger generation. The Trail of Forgotten Puteri is an interactive digital storybook developed using the ADDIE Model to revive fading legends and celebrate Malaysia's cultural heritage. This project focuses on the story of Puteri Walinong Sari from Pahang, highlighting her courage, wisdom, and cultural values through engaging storytelling and visuals inspired by local culture. Designed specifically for children aged 6 to 12, the storybook aims to increase awareness of Malaysian folklore while fostering curiosity, creativity, and cultural appreciation. Based on user testing involving 33 respondents, the study showed that 100% of users were entertained by the story and learned new information about Malaysian folklore, while 97% agreed that the storybook was easy to understand, demonstrating high levels of user engagement and educational effectiveness. This data proves that interactive digital storytelling can play a vital role in preserving cultural identity and encouraging innovative learning experiences.
