Sustainable Waste Free Integrated School System (Swiss): From Waste To Worth is an innovation developed in response to the increasing generation of waste in schools and the lack of systematic waste management practices. The main problem is improper waste segregation and low environmental awareness among students, which leads to inefficient disposal methods. The objective of SWISS is to reduce school waste, promote recycling behaviour, and cultivate environmental responsibility among students. This innovation introduces an integrated system consisting of waste segregation stations, student-led monitoring teams, composting of organic waste, recycling partnerships, and reward-based participation to encourage consistent engagement. Through this approach, students are actively involved in experiential learning about sustainability and waste management. The implementation of SWISS has shown improvements in waste reduction, increased recycling rates, and enhanced environmental awareness within the school community. In conclusion, SWISS transforms schools into sustainable environments where waste is turned into value.
