CompoWare is an innovative eco-friendly disposable plate designed to reduce single-use plastic waste. It is made from natural materials such as tapioca flour, rice husk, and a food-grade binder. During production, fast-germinating vegetable seeds are embedded into the plate. After use, instead of being thrown away, the plate can be planted directly into soil. It naturally decomposes, enriches the soil, and allows seeds to grow into plants within weeks. This innovation supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 12 by promoting responsible consumption, a circular economy, and long-term environmental sustainability for communities worldwide today and future generations everywhere globally together.
