ST1203: MAG-IQ (VAKUM MAGNETIK PINTAR)

MAG-IQ is an innovative product designed to remove ferrous metal dust and debris by combining vacuum and electromagnetic suction technology. In plumbing and welding workshops, metal fragments often cling to broom brushes and cloths, making the cleaning process inefficient and time-consuming. The objective of this innovation is to enhance the separation of iron dust, thereby saving time and energy for users. Equipped with a 24-volt electromagnetic system at the front, MAG-IQ can effectively collect dust and metal debris. This product acceptance study involved 52 respondents, comprising workshop and laboratory users from Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Polytechnic and Sungai Buloh Vocational College, Selangor. Product testing was carried out at four different workshop locations, with data collected through both quantitative (questionnaires) and qualitative (observations and interviews) methods. The results showed that 98.1% of respondents agreed that MAG-IQ functions effectively, while 90.4% stated that it reduces health risks. The device also demonstrated faster performance, with an average cleaning time of 2 minutes 4 seconds, compared to 4 minutes 4 seconds using conventional methods. In conclusion, the feedback on MAG-IQ is overwhelmingly positive. This innovation shows strong potential to improve workshop cleaning efficiency and reduce the risk of injury and health issues with continuous improvements.
