Prolonged computer use among students often leads to sedentary lifestyles, causing physical inactivity and eye strain. To combat this, we developed an interactive health monitoring system utilizing PictoBlox Object Detection. The system tracks screen time by continuously monitoring human presence. If a user is detected for 30 uninterrupted minutes, a mandatory intervention alarm triggers. To deactivate the alert, the user must successfully complete a physical stretching mini-game controlled entirely via hand movements. By enforcing active breaks through gamification, this innovative solution disrupts prolonged sitting, encourages immediate physical exertion, and promotes healthier digital habits to mitigate the adverse effects of extended screen time.
