Physical inactivity poses a major public health risk and is linked to chronic diseases. This study explored the tendency to avoid physical activity and sports among university students based on gender, age, and Body Mass Index (BMI). A total of 366 students from three UiTM Sarawak campuses participated, using the Tendency to Avoid Physical Activity and Sports questionnaire. Results showed that male students and those with normal BMI were more likely to avoid physical activity, while age showed no significant. Understanding these patterns can help professionals create better strategies to promote physical activity, especially among youth with body image concerns.
