Aquaponics is a sustainable farming method that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (growing plants in water without soil). In an aquaponic system, fish are kept in tanks, and their waste provides natural nutrients that are sent to the plants. The plants, in turn, absorb these nutrients, helping to clean and recycle the water, which is then returned to the fish tanks. This closed-loop system conserves water, reduces waste, and can produce fish and plants simultaneously.
