“Malaysia’s municipal solid waste management system is reliant on landfilling, which is unsustainable in long term.” (Kok Siew Ng, 2023). To solve this problem, we introduced “Requora” which captures intelligent separation of recyclable waste and transformation of food waste into biomass. Our innovation supports SDG7 and SDG 11. “Requora” was tested on 215 families. Our questionnaire shows 95 percent agreed that “Requora” is helpful in managing waste. Statistical analysis was conducted using frequency distribution and percentage agreement to assess user satisfaction and product performance. For future enhancement, the bin could include a self-cleaning mechanism, reducing manual effort and promoting sustainability.
