The iGrill-Rotax Grilling Tool Production Project at the Food Processing Unit was developed as an innovation to improve the efficiency, safety and quality of the food grilling process on a training and teaching scale. This tool is designed with an automatic rotary system to ensure more even grilling, save time and reduce the need for manual monitoring. Its practical and user-friendly design allows it to be used easily in limited workspaces and is suitable for operations at the Food Processing Unit at the Teluk Intan Vocational College (Agriculture). This project aims to increase work productivity, reduce the risk of injuries such as burns and fatigue due to manual rotation, and ensure more consistent and quality grilling results. To evaluate the effectiveness of this tool, a study was conducted involving 37 students consisting of SVM Year 2 and Diploma Year 2. The data collection method was done through a questionnaire, and the data was analyzed descriptively to identify the level of acceptance and effectiveness of the use of the tool. The results of the study showed that the majority of respondents agreed that the iGrill-Rotax is easy to operate, increases work efficiency, produces more even grilling, and is safer to use compared to conventional methods. Observations also found that this tool helps to streamline the work process and increase the level of cleanliness and systematicity in food preparation. Overall, this project proves that the iGrill-Rotax grill has high potential as an innovative equipment that is practical, safe and efficient for use in skills training and food processing operations, in line with current technological needs that emphasize aspects of safety, quality and time saving.
