Virtual Booth

This project increases agricultural waste discarded after harvest, reducing environmental pollution. Chosen for its affordability, availability, and excellent oil absorption, the fiber is extracted, cleaned, dried, and shaped into wicks. Testing proves it is a safe, biodegradable, and effective alternative. Beyond reducing waste, this hands-on project fosters student creativity, STEM skills, and recycling awareness. Ultimately, the Banana Stem Wick has great potential for future development as a commercial eco-friendly product.
