Many farmers and gardeners use plastic pots to grow seedlings, but these pots create a lot of waste and can harm the environment. Farmers also face problems with watering plants regularly, especially during hot weather or when they are busy. This project is about making an eco-friendly seedling pot using mycelium, which is a natural material from fungi. The mycelium is mixed with agricultural waste like rice husks or sawdust to form a strong and biodegradable pot. This pot can replace plastic pots and can break down naturally in the soil, helping to reduce pollution. As a secondary feature, a simple self-watering system is added to our biodegradable pot. The system uses a soil moisture sensor to check if the soil is dry. When the soil becomes too dry, it automatically waters the plant. This helps farmers save time and use water more efficiently. This project shows how natural materials and simple technology can work together to solve real problems faced by farmers and help protect the environment.
