The existence of rescue boats used by rescue teams serves many functions, such as helping to move flood victims to evacuation centers during floods and more. However, the question arises: can these boats help all flood victims? Their efforts are often delayed because rescue boats take time to prepare, and there is limited manpower. Furthermore, their efforts are often hindered by boats that are filled with rescue supplies, taking up space. The simultaneous occurrence of floods in several areas also makes emergency response more difficult. This idea emerged when we started discussing the flood problem in Malaysia at that time and how the flood started, who was affected, who helped, and what people really needed during a flood. The question was, "What do people need during a flood?" This was answered with emergency disaster kits, which provide early preparation before a disaster, and assistance from various parties. However, there were still issues—could all victims be rescued? Did all flood victims receive help? This led to the idea of creating BOBOT, which would serve as an initial aid to help flood victims.
