The material provides real-time, visual feedback on product status—such as freshness or degradation progress—through distinct and stimulus-responsive colorimetric changes. By integrating advanced sensing capabilities with fully compostable, environmentally friendly properties, this agent offers a sustainable solution for enhancing product safety and waste management without contributing to long-term pollution.
