Virtual Booth

The WiFi Flood Detector is an IoT-based system developed to provide automatic early flood warnings and enhance household safety. It uses an ESP32 microcontroller, float switch, relay, and siren to detect rising water levels, trigger an alarm, and automatically cut off electricity to prevent electric shock. The system also sends real-time notifications to the user’s smartphone via WiFi, enabling remote monitoring. Developed through stages of system design, component integration, programming, and simulated testing, it demonstrated high accuracy, fast response (under five seconds), and low power consumption. This innovation offers an effective solution for flood-prone areas, helping to minimize property damage and protect lives.
