The Optical Kit project was developed to help students understand the basic concepts of optics and image formation in a more interactive and practical way. This kit uses a simple optical system consisting of a light source, object, convex lens, and screen to demonstrate how real images are formed through the refraction of light. Students are able to observe changes in the position, size, and orientation of images when the distances between the object, lens, and screen are adjusted. In addition, the kit is designed to be user-friendly, safe, and suitable as a teaching aid for Science and Physics learning in schools. The use of this optical kit can also save time during experiments, provide more accurate observations and readings, and reduce the chances of careless mistakes while conducting practical activities. Furthermore, the project helps students understand important concepts such as focal length, inverted image formation, and the functions of lenses in everyday applications such as cameras, projectors, and microscopes.Through the development of this STEM Optical Kit, students are not only able to understand optical theories more clearly, but also enhance their problem-solving skills, creativity, and hands-on learning experience in line with modern STEM education approaches.
