Mathematics and history are often seen as separate subjects, making it challenging for students to see their connections. Many students find mathematics difficult and uninteresting, while history is sometimes perceived as a subject of mere emorization. This lack of engagement leads to disinterest and a lack of appreciation for both subjects. To address this issue,Pi-Rates was developed as an interactive game using Scratch. The main goal of Pi-Rates is to integrate mathematical concepts with the rich history of the Malay Archipelago, making learning more enjoyable and meaningful for students. By incorporating game-based learning, this project aims to enhance students' understanding of mathematics through historical narratives, increase their appreciation of Malay history, and improve their problem-solving skills. Pi-Rates is an interactive educational game that presents players with historical scenarios where they must apply mathematical concepts to progress. By engaging with the challenges in the game, students develop a deeper understanding of how mathematics has been used throughout history and gain a newfound appreciation for both subjects. With Pi-Rates, students no longer see mathematics and history as isolated subjects but as interconnected fields that shape the world around them
