GlOSSIORA focuses on formulating a vegan lip gloss using plant-based ingredients and cosmetic additives. Many commercial lip products contain synthetic chemicals and animal-derived ingredients that may not be suitable for all users. Our objective is to create a safer, eco-friendly alternative using accessible materials that align with vegan values.

We use candelilla wax as the base wax, which is a plant-based alternative to beeswax. To enhance texture and moisture, we include shea butter, coconut oil and argan oil. As cosmetic additives, we add mica powder to provide vibrant visual appeal, essences (such as lychee and peach) for fragrance, and vitamin E oil to nourish the lips and act as a mild preservative.

We test the final product for its texture, scent, moisturizing effect, and color appearance. We also compare it with store-bought lip gloss to evaluate performance. Our results show that the vegan lip gloss has a smooth and creamy texture, gives a light but attractive color payoff, and effectively moisturizes the lips. The scent remains fresh and pleasant due to the essence.

This project proves that with simple, plant-based ingredients and safe cosmetic additives, we can create a lip gloss that is effective, ethical, and suitable for everyday use.
