The widespread adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) relies on efficient and accessible charging infrastructure. This study presents a framework for identifying ideal locations for photovoltaic electric vehicle charging stations (PEVCS) in Malaysia, focusing on six criteria: society, economy, environment, technology, accessibility, and proximity. Using GIS, Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP), 12 sub-criteria were analyzed to create a suitability map for PEVCS placement. The findings provide actionable insights for policymakers and urban planners, ensuring effective infrastructure development. This research supports the transition to sustainable transportation, paving the way for greener cities and a cleaner, more efficient future.
