Traditional security systems like guard checks and access cards often cause delays, rely on human presence, and remain vulnerable to intruders—especially at night.
Guardian Gate solves this by using an ESP32-CAM, ultrasonic sensors, laser tripwires, and OpenCV license plate recognition. It opens the gate automatically for registered vehicles and closes it once the car enters. For visitors, it records license plate numbers and requests visit details.
At night, a laser sensor activates to detect movement and sound an alarm if needed, adding extra protection.
This automated system reduces manual workload, minimizes human error, and strengthens security. By improving efficiency and safety, it supports SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
In short, Guardian Gate offers reliable, smart security that keeps residential communities safe and residents worry-free.
