Measurement of construction works subject is the subject related to measure the quantity required for construction project. Students are taught skills in engineering and construction, as well as in business and construction management. This subject acquires students to have a good visualisation in order to have deep understanding on the subject. But, in this new era, higher education faced new challenges. Learning styles of the students in this modern technology era also changed. A survey among second year students showed that more students have visual learning preference compare to auditory styles. However, current teaching style which are emphasizing on auditory style is not in line with students learning styles. As a result, the students desire cannot be fullfilled. Therefore, an innovation via Augmented Reality (AR) video was developed to increase the level of understanding in measurement of construction works among students. It was found that this innovation was attractive thus improving student's attention and understanding in this subject.
