The increase in domestic food waste has become a growing environmental issue, especially in urban households where waste disposal is often inefficient. Most conventional composting methods are time-consuming and require continuous effort, making them less practical for daily use. At the same time, fully automated systems available in the market are often too expensive for average households. To address these challenges, this project proposes the development of a simple and effective food waste processing system that combines a grinding mechanism with a temperature-controlled drying system. The grinding process helps reduce the size of food waste, while the heating system operates between 60°C and 75°C to remove moisture more efficiently. A temperature sensor and microcontroller will be used to maintain a stable temperature, along with an automatic cut-off feature to ensure safety during operation. This system is designed to be compact, affordable, and easy to use, making it suitable for household applications. It is expected to reduce the volume of food waste, speed up the processing time, and produce a more stable output that can be reused or disposed of more easily. Overall, this project aims to provide a practical and sustainable solution for better food waste management at home.
