SS2381: SHADESIT: REDEFINING OUTDOOR COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE

This study examines new outdoor tourism products that promote enhanced traveler comfort and mobility. ShadeSit, a folding chair with adjustable umbrella, cup holder, and side compartment, is tackling the problems of portable comfort, weather protection, and convenience. The innovation enablers are ergonomics, climatic adaptability, user-oriented convenience, and environmental friendliness. The research employs literature review, industry standards, and statistical assessment of tourist preference to prove the viability of ShadeSit. ShadeSit, as a product developed through a methodical process involving user inputs, provides a compact and multi-featured product enhancing comfort and convenience outside, bolstered through favorable market response from 40 participants
