PotaSorb Sachet is a potato-based innovation designed to reduce the saltiness of cooked food without compromising its taste. PotaSorb functions as a practical, natural salt absorber. A study was conducted by comparing three food samples containing the same salt concentration. These samples were tested with varying quantities of PotaSorb over a fixed period. A taste test involving 20 respondents was carried out to obtain taste scores. The study findings showed that PotaSorb significantly reduced the salty taste. PotaSorb is easy to use and can be incorporated into daily cooking as a natural umami flavor enhancer that supports healthy eating at an affordable cost.
